How to Get to Paris ENS
The École Normale Supérieure (ENS) is located in the heart of the Latin Quarter in Paris, at 45 rue d’Ulm, 75005. It is easily accessible by public transportation. The nearest metro stations are Place Monge (Line 7) and Luxembourg (RER B), both within a 10-minute walk. From Charles de Gaulle Airport, you can take the RER B directly to Luxembourg station. Bus lines 21 and 27 also serve the area. Taxis and ride-share services are available throughout the city for more direct access. Whether arriving by plane, train, or metro, getting to ENS is convenient and well-connected.
Getting Around Paris
Paris has an extensive and efficient public transportation system that makes getting around the city easy. The city is served by two major airports: Charles de Gaulle (CDG) and Orly (ORY). From both airports, the RER B train connects directly to central Paris, including stops near the Latin Quarter. The Paris Metro is the fastest way to travel within the city, with 16 lines covering nearly every neighborhood. Buses and trams also offer scenic and accessible alternatives. Consider purchasing a Navigo pass or a Paris Visite travel card for unlimited travel on public transit. Walking is a great way to explore Paris, especially in central areas, and bike or e-scooter rentals are widely available. Taxis and ride-sharing apps like Uber are convenient but can be more expensive during peak hours.
