The 2nd VOICES Summer School on “Breaking the Bias: Inspiring Diversity in R&I” will soon take place in Athens from 5 to 7 July. Working group 3, led by Clemens Striebing & Anita Thaler, has prepared this year’s Summer School in Greece, during 3 days we will reflect on how to integrate the gender perspective from an intersectional and diverse point of view in the different fields of science and technology.
The Athena Research Center, led by Katerina Pastra & Vivian Stamou, has organised the sessions at the Impact Hub Athens, an innovation venue located in the centre of Athens. Knowledge sharing and innovation in one of the most relevant cities in the history of democracy.
The plenary sessions will be streamed live and recorded. For the programme, Working Group 3 were able to recruit two true pioneers in the field of gendered innovations, Londa Schiebinger and Elizabeth Pollitzer, as well as a promising young researcher, Jenny Carla Moran. And we also want to talk to you about possible research projects.
Here is the link to the stream (MS Teams).
