Attention!!!

The latest version of the COST Annotated Rules includes the following main updates for applicants:

• Conference Grants include three types of grants: ITCC (no age limits, only oral presentation), YRIC (Young Researchers or Innovators (under 40 years old) from COST full or Cooperating Member/NN Countries and DC.
• Acknowledgments. To promote the Action and acknowledge the funding organization applicants should include one slide with all the required acknowledgment elements at the end of their presentations. Reports and claims will not be approved unless all supporting documents and acknowledgments are included.
• Overlapping Grant Applications. Grant Holder Managers and Grant Awarding Coordinators now have visibility into all grants concurrently applied for by an applicant. This includes grants from other COST Actions or participation in meetings or training schools of VOICES or other COST Actions. Double funding checks are conducted at various stages, including submission of the grant application by the applicant and Approval of the grant by the Grant Awarding Coordinator. Once a grant is approved, other pending applications will be blocked to prevent double funding.
• Changes in the reimbursement of travel expenses for those who use cars for their journeys. Not to lose your travel money, please check the point A1-3.1.3.1 Accommodation, Meals and Short Distance Travel Expenses – Daily Allowance in the updated Annotated-Rules on page 82.

Short Term Scientific Mission (STSM) grant funds a visit to a host organization located in a different country than the country of affiliation by a researcher or innovator for specific work to be carried out and for a determined period of time. It aims supporting individual mobility, strengthen existing networks, and at encourage collaborations by allowing scientists to visit an institution or laboratory in another country.

Dissemination conference grant (DC) funds an oral presentation by Voices COST Action Participant of the work of the Action in a high- level conference, fully organized by a third party.

ITC Conference grant funds an oral presentation of the own work within the scope of the Voices Action by an Action Participant affiliated to a legal entity located in an Inclusiveness Target Country / Near Neighbour Country in a high-level conference fully organized by a third party.
